The Atreian weather service has announced that summer is on the way to Atreia and Daeva’s should expect scorching temperatures. During this Aion Summer Event, which runs from the 15th of September to the 13th of October 2010, Daevas will have the chance to gather ‘Scorching Heat’ which can be traded for special summer items.
Aion Scorching Heat Quest Guide: Elyos
First things first. Head to Elyos Square, in Sanctum and talk to the Daeva of Summer, Eliana. She’s easy to spot as she’s wearing a bathing suit and has a red quest arrow above her head. She will discuss the heat with you and tell you that you can turn the heat into cool passion. Reward is 1,400xp and 1,650 kinah.
She’ll send you to speak with Cartiros who is standing just a few meters away. Cartiros will talk about the Aether heating up and Atreia’s overpopulation as causes of the heat wave. Reward is 1,400xp and 1,650 kinah. He’ll then send you to Zena who is also in Elyos Square.
Zena is the Daeva you need to speak with to trade ‘Scorching Heats’ for either a Cold Box for at a cost of 20 Scorching Heats, or a Frozen Box for 50 Scorching Heats. These boxes contain various items and special summer accessories.
Aion Scorching Heat Quest Guide: Asmodians
For Asmodians, head to Pandaemonium Plaza in Pandaemonium and speak with the Daeva of Summer, Murea. She’ll discuss the extremes in weather with you, blaming the Elyos and Balaur. She rewards you with 1,400xp and 1,650 kinah and sends you to speak with Sihein who is standing nearby.
Sihein will tell you about collecting ‘Scorching Heats’ and tell you to trade them with Elma for Cold Boxes (20 Scorching Heats) and Frozen Boxes (50 Scorching Heats). Reward is 1,400xp and 1,650 kinah. Speak to Elma, also in Pandaemonium Plaza, once you have enough Scorching Heats to trade.

How to Collect Scorching Heats
Collecting Scorching Heats is easy; you just need to be logged into Aion and every 20 minutes, a Scorching Heat will automatically arrive in your inventory (Cube). There is no level requirement to get them, but you need to be at least level 10 to be able to enter Sanctum/Pandaemonium to trade them with a Daeva of Summer.
The bad part is that both Sanctum and Pandaemonium are full of gamers loitering around the Daevas causing lag and basically being an eyesore. But regardless of whether you are questing, setting up your store or just walking around admiring the scenery, you’ll collect Scorching Heats every 20 minutes.
Aion Summer Event Rewards
This is what gamers really want to know; what cool loot is up for grabs. Scorching Heats, Cold Boxes and Frozen Boxes are non-tradeable but the rewards inside are. When you purchase an event box, you’ll get an item at random.

So head to Atreia for the Aion Summer Event and start collecting Scorching Heats. Hurry, you have until the 13th of October 2010 to update your wardrobe. But don’t wait too long; you don’t want to be the last one to get a bikini, do you?
