Sunday, August 29, 2010 was Big Brother 12 episode 23, picking up where the double eviction episode came to an end. It had been a frustrating finish for fans, because CBS played games with viewers and didn’t allow them to know who won the final Head of Household on Thursday. Instead, they forced fans who only watch the CBS version of the show to tune in on Sunday to find out. It was revealed in the live feeds, but that meant only people searching for spoilers knew what had happened.
Big Brother 12 Episode 23 Recap
The first 20 minutes of the new episode seemed like recap of what had already happened, presenting way too much filler to viewers that also already watched on Thursday. Finally CBS moved to footage that had taken place after the show ended on Thursday, as the five people in the house started preparing for the second Head of Household competition of the day. It also showed that the Brigade (Lane, Hayden, and Enzo) wanted Ragan to go home next.
Big Brother 12 August 26 Head of Household Competition
The second Head of Household competition was Vegas style, with the four players (sans Hayden) getting dealt cards, and then trying to flips oversized balls into a course where those same cards were located. Matching meant they stayed in the game, failing to match meant elimination. They played in rounds, determining which ones could get it done in the least number of shots.
Britney was the first one to be eliminated. Then it was Enzo who was eliminated in the second round as he was just flat out terrible at it. In the final round, it was Lane that scored the best, making Lane the next Big Brother 12 Head of Household.
Lane's Pandora's Box in Head of Household Room
Lane opened Pandora's Box, but he had to pick three envelopes at random from a money tree, with each envelope giving a new punishment to the rest of the house. His first two envelopes were $79 and $12, and then his third envelope was only 17 cents. Nobody else seemed to believe that he only made that much money in there.
The first punishment was no silverware of glasses in the house for the week.
Big Brother 12 August 29 Nomination Ceremony
The latest Big Brother 12 nomination ceremony had new Head of Household Lane deciding which two people were going up on the block. Lane ended up choosing Ragan and Enzo as his two nominations, making it very interesting that he sided with Britney, and went against his Brigade teammate in Enzo.
