There are many stores that are open: Walmart, Kmart, Sears, Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic, Michaels, etc. Why are you still at home?

The United States has come up with a modified Thanksgiving grace prayer:

O God, when I have food,
Help me to remember the hungry;
When I have work,
Help me to remember the jobless;
When I have a Visa card,
Help me to remember Sears is open on Thanksgiving…

Thanksgiving: The American Shopping Holiday

Let me get this straight: Americans used to watch TV all year, then turn off the TV for a short amount of time on Thanksgiving to give thanks to the Lord for all of their blessings. But, now…people are going to turn off their TVs on Thanksgiving 2010 to go shopping for a bigger big-screen TV? Let us bow our heads and give thanks to the god of television.

Sears Is Open on Thanksgiving

For the first time in its 85-year history, according to cnbc.com, Sears will be open on Thanksgiving morning. But, you’d better be ready for action because it’s only open from 7 a.m. to noon. According to "Sears Thursday Thanksgiving Sale Black Friday 2010 Deals" at become.com, here are some of the bargains:
