Carnival Cruise Line provides a fun vacation at a good price with lots of ports of departure to choose from for Caribbean cruises.

For those looking for some fun in the sun, Carnival Cruise Line can deliver the goods. Carnival has short cruises of three to seven days heading to the Bahamas, Eastern Caribbean and Western Caribbean out of ports up and down the Atlantic coast and Florida. Mobile, Alabama, New Orleans and Galveston, Texas, are also ports to catch a Carnival ship to the Caribbean. With so many choices it is possible to drive or take a short flight to start the fun.

Carnival keeps its ships in great condition, even the older ones. Newer ships, like the brand-new Dream sailing out of Port Canaveral, have all the bells and whistles. The Dream, which does seven –day cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean features a giant movie screen, deluxe spa, adults only Serenity area, several specialty restaurants and entertainment and activities day and night.

Carnival Cruisers Enjoy Delicious Food

When it comes to food, Carnival serves up a pleasing menu set for American tastes, but with plenty of exotic offerings to satisfy even the most discriminating palate. Carnival still serves lobster on all its cruises, a nice touch that many lines have dropped, perhaps due to cost and the lower price of cruises these days.

Other popular dinner items are beef dishes such as Filet Mignon, Prime Rib, Flatiron Steak and Beef Stroganoff, and a variety of seafood dishes such as Grouper and the ever popular Shrimp Cocktails which are available every night.

Cold cream soups such as the Strawberry and Mango draw rave reviews, as does the more exotic escargot. And of course the desserts, including the Melting Chocolate Cake and Grand Marnier Soufflé continue to be popular.

Plenty of Activities for All Ages on Carnival

Carnival Cruises offer something for everyone, from the giant waterslides to karaoke and trivia contests to a fantastic program for kids. Fun Days at Sea mean non-stop activities or time to just watch the world float by, whichever is most appealing.

Nightly entertainment in the lounges and show venues is all top-notch with no expense sparred to give cruisers a memorable vacation.

Carnival offers some of the best children’s programs at sea. Starting at age 2 with Camp Carnival and going up to the teen program for those 15-17, Carnival delivers the fun and gives kids a chance to meet others their age in a safe environment.

Ports of Call in Caribbean Offer a Great Vacation

With so much to do onboard, it is often hard to get off the ship, but Carnival Cruises will get passengers to all the best ports of call in the Caribbean. Cruisers can choose from the popular Eastern Caribbean itineraries which offer fabulous shopping, sightseeing and beaches or the Western Caribbean where snorkeling and clear waters off lovely beaches beckon. Carnival has made sure there is plenty of shopping in such ports as Cozumel, Mexico, by developing shopping malls. For shorter cruises, the Bahamas offer a perfect blend of beach and sightseeing.

Whichever cruise on Carnival is appealing, one thing is certain. There will be plenty of fun on the Fun Ships.
