Vacationers who want to play in the snow, relax by the fire, or shop ‘til they drop will alll find something to enjoy during a Christmas vacation in Colorado. Cities, towns and resorts offer attractive deals for those who plan ahead and for last minute travelers alike.

Ski Resort Christmas Holidays

Colorado's 26 ski areas welcome Christmas visitors with lights, decorations and special Christmas activities. At some resorts skiers can take to the slopes with Santa Claus or one of his helpers. Families can roast marshmallows over bonfires, watch night time torch light parades and enjoy carol singing at ski base areas. Most resorts offer special Christmas vacation packages that include lodging and lift tickets. For those who don't ski, Colorado resorts also offer sledding, snow shoeing, ice skating and other winter-time activities.
