Etsy On Sale is a website that offers services to users of the online craft marketplace Etsy.com. Etsy On Sale is a companion website that helps Etsy sellers host sales.
Etsy sellers can use Etsy On Sale to make changes to their item tags in bulk. Using this tool, Etsy sellers can add tags such as "On Sale" "Discount" and "Special" to all of their items at once. Previously, Etsy users had to change each item's tags individually.
Etsy On Sale also allows Etsy users to host sales. They can choose to take off a percentage or a dollar amount from their items. They can also choose to place their entire shop on sale or just sections of the store. For instance, a jewelry seller may choose only to place their earrings on sale.
Each sale is set up on a schedule. When the sale is scheduled to start, the specified listings will automatically be discounted and the title will be altered to announce the sale. The items will then revert back to their presale state at the end of the sale schedule.
In addition to their sale services, Etsy On Sale also features the sale listings on their website. This provides sellers with additional publicity and access to sellers.
Etsy On Sale Pricing and Credits
Etsy On Sale previously offered their services for free, but now they are charging for credits that are used to pay for their services. Each new member will receive five free credits and then they must pay for any additional credits.
Credits are priced at different levels based on bulk. Ten credits cost $10, 20 credits cost $15, 40 credits cost $20 and 100 credits cost $25. At the ten-credit level, each credit costs $1 but at the 100-credit level, each credit only costs $0.25, so users save money if they purchase in more credits at once. The credits also do not expire.
Once the credits are purchased, they can be used for the site services. Users pay four credits to host a sale event at their Etsy shop. Bulk tagging costs only one credit. Along with these services, Etsy On Sale will also continue to feature all sale items on their site, for added exposure.
The new pricing changes may discourage some Etsy sellers from using Etsy On Sale. Etsy sellers who feature 100 or more listings may find the ease of bulk editing worth the price of the credits. However, many who sell less items, may stop using the site due to the new costs.
