There is still plenty of time to take advantage of Las Vegas Restaurant Week, kicking off on August 30th and continuing through September 5th, 2010.

Las Vegas Restaurant Week provides both lovers of fine dining and regular travelers the perfect reason to get away. Top chefs of one of the most noted culinary cities in America have created specially designed menus to mark the occasion. All types of fare are offered, with no tasting menu priced at more than $50.10 per person.

Benefit for Three Square Food Bank

More than 80 of the city’s fine dining establishments and restaurants will participate in the annual event which benefits Three Square Food Bank, a partner organization of Feeding America. Participating restaurants will offer menus priced at $20.10, 30.10 and $50.10. The budget conscious can have an outstanding lunch for $20.10.

Participating restaurant venues can be found at the following resorts:

  • ARIA Resort & Casino: American Fish, Blossom, Jean Georges Steakhouse, Julian Serrano, Sage, Sirio Ristorante and Union Restaurant & Lounge.
  • Bellagio: FIX restaurant & bar, Jasmine, Olive’s, Osteria del Circo, Prime Steakhouse, Sensi and Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Lounge.
  • Caesar's Palace: Bradley Ogden, Mesa Grill and Rao’s Las Vegas.
  • Harrah’s Las Vegas: Kerry Simon’s KGB.
  • Luxor Hotel & Casino: TENDER Steak & Seafood.
  • Mandalay Bay: Aureole, Fleur de Lys, miX, Shanghai Lilly, Stripsteak and Rick Moonen’s rm seafood.
  • Mandarin Oriental: Mozen Bistro.
  • MGM Grand Hotel & Casino: L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon, Nobhill Tavern by Michael Mina, Diego, Seablue, Tom Colicchio’s Craftsteak, FiAMMA Trattoria & Bar, Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill.
  • The Mirage: BLT Burger, Fin, Japonais, Kokomo’s, Onda, Samba and Stack Restaurant & Bar.
  • Monte Carlo Resort & Casino: Andre’s Restaurant & Lounge, Brand Steakhouse and Diablo’s Cantina.
  • Off-Strip Venues: Marche Bacchus in Summerlin, Tommy Bahama Restaurant and Bar at Town Square Las Vegas and Origin India, located across from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
  • The Palazzo: Dos Caminos, LAVO, Morels French Steakhouse & Bistro and Table 10.
  • Palms Casino Resort: Alize at the Top of the Palms.
  • Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino: Café Martorano.
  • The Venetian, Delmonico Steakhouse, Pinot Brasserie, TAO Asian Bistro and Valentino.
  • Wynn Las Vegas and Encore: Stratta and Society Café.

“While Las Vegas has long been hailed as the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World,’ the city is also home to an ever-growing list of celebrity chefs and master sommeliers,” said Cathy Tull, senior vice president of marketing for the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA). “Restaurant Week is a food lover’s dream. The event gives epicureans an excuse to indulge in chef’s tasting menus at greatly reduced prices for a good cause.”

Restaurant Week Room Packages

Many resorts are inviting visitors to extend their stay by offering Restaurant Week overnight packages, providing guests the opportunity to pair a world-class dining experience with entertainment, spa and night-life offerings. Some of the resorts include Palazzo, Four Seasons, Mandalay Bay, Monte Carlo Resort & Casino and Bellagio.
