The draw for the fifth round of the English FA Cup – the most famous knockout competition in the world – was made at Wembley Stadium on Sunday 30 January 2011.
The big shock of the fourth round was non-league club Crawley Town winning away at Torquay United to follow their win over Derby County in the third round.
The third round also produced three other giant-killing matches, with Stevenage beating Newcastle United one of the key fixtures. Stevenage could not repeat that in the fourth round, losing at home to Reading. Burton Albion knocked out Middlesbrough, but again the fourth round proved too much as they lost away at Burnley. And Notts County won away at Sunderland, and they nearly did it again at home to Manchester City in the fourth round, taking the lead before a late City equaliser forced a replay.
The fifth round will take place on the weekend of 19 and 20 February 2011, with the quarter finals on 12 and 13 March 2011, the semi-finals on 16 and 17 April 2011 and the final at Wembley on Saturday 14 May 2011.

FA Cup Fifth Round Ties to Watch Out For
Non-league’s Crawley Town’s reward for their giant killing acts is a trip to Old Trafford to play cup favourites Manchester United, who were a goal down at half time against Southampton but rallied to win 2-1.
Cup holders Chelsea could only manage a draw with Everton in the fourth round, forcing a replay, the winner of which will play Reading. And there is an all-London tie to look forward to as Leyton Orient, who won away at Swansea City, face high-flying Arsenal who had to work for their 2-1 home win against Huddersfield Town.
A late winner saw Stoke City win the local derby against Wolverhampton Wanderers and their reward is home tie against Brighton & Hove Albion, who did a bit of giant killing in the fourth round with an away win at Watford. West Ham United needed a second half winner to beat Nottingham Forest and now face Burnley.
Birmingham City will have to put their impending League Cup final against Arsenal out of their minds as they settle to take on Sheffield Wednesday. Birmingham City has a tight 3-2 win over neighbours Coventry City while Sheffield Wednesday cruised to a 4-1 win over Hereford United.
Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur didn't play their fourth round tie until the draw had been completed. Fulham romped home 4-0 winners and now face either Bolton Wanderers or Wigan Athletic, who had a goalless draw and have to replay.
