Free Coupons are everywhere. All it takes is a little time and effort to find them, but the savings are worth it.
Free Coupons in Newspapers
Every Sunday, most local papers will have free grocery coupons in their inserts. Be sure to check the grocery store and pharmacy inserts as well since sometimes they have coupons specific for their stores in them.
Free Coupons in Magazines
Check out the advertisements in magazines. Sometimes these will have a coupon for that product included on the page.
Free Printable Manufacturers' Coupons
There are several websites that offer free printable manufacturers' coupons. Try smartsource.com, coupons.com, couponmom.com, or afullcup.com. Most of these sites require a membership, but the membership is free. Printing the coupons might require some software to be downloaded, but it is safe to do so. The coupon selection can change from month to month, so be sure to check the sites often for new deals.
Free Downloadable Coupons
Some sites offer downloadable coupons that can be sent directly to a cell phone or a specific store's discount card. Try cellfire.com or shortcuts.com. Also, check out a specific grocery store's website to see if they offer any discounts that can be transferred to their discount card.
Free Pizza Coupons
Don't throw away pizza boxes without checking to see if there are any free pizza coupons attached. Many times pizza restaurants will send coupons in the mail, so be sure to to look through the mail to grab the good deals. Also, check the pizza restaurant's website for coupons and coupon codes.
Free Restaurant Coupons
Most restaurants offer coupons to customers who sign up on their websites to be a member of their club. Many times they will offer a free appetizer, dessert, or even a free dish. Just sign up to receive the coupons through email. Check the Sunday paper and the mail for coupon offers for restaurants. Try looking on websites like valpak.com and couponmom.com. Also, there are many cell phone apps that have free restaurant coupons.
Free Coupon Codes
When making a purchase on a website, there is sometimes a spot for a coupon code or promotional code. These coupon codes can be good for free shipping, a percentage off the purchase price, or free products. Try couponcabin.com or currentcodes.com. An ABC News December 2004 article suggests searching the Internet for a specific code. For example, if the product being bought comes from Old Navy, go to a search engine and type "Old Navy coupon code" and search the results to see if any are currently available.
