The Twilight Series has become mega popular this year among the tweens and teen girls. That's because the vampires featured in the movies and the novels by Stephenie Meyer don't look like typical vampires. They are young, beautiful and magnificent creatures with glowing eyes and an irresistible scent to attract their victims.
There are plenty of vampire costumes available in stores for purchase. However most of them will look nothing like the vampires from the Twilight movies. In order to look like Bella from the Twilight movies it will take a little creativity and not much money at all. To become a Twilight vampire this Halloween follow these steps:

How to Look Like a Twilight Vampire
The Clothing:
Twilight vampires don't get all dressed up in the traditional vampire outfits. Instead their clothing is simple which helps them blend in with humans. Dress in simple, dark clothing. This doesn't necessarily mean black, but darker toned clothing works best for the overall look. Dark denim jeans and a long-sleeved top or even a skirt will work, as long as the colors are dark such as deep purples, reds and blues.
The Skin:
Since it's a vampire costume, the skin should look very light and pale, but not the ghostly white of traditional vampires. Use a makeup foundation that is one to two shades lighter than one's normal skin tone. Try looking for a foundation labeled as "luminance" or "brilliance" to help reflect the light. This will give the skin a glowing appearance just like that of the Twilight vampires. A shimmering body lotion or body balm will work as well.
The Eyes:
Eyes have been said to be the windows to the soul. Well, Twilight vampires have glowing, colored eyes. To achieve this look colored contacts work best if possible. This makes it very easy to change the color of the eyes. The typical Twilight vampires have burgundy red eyes while the "vegetarian" vampires have golden eyes. To find vampire colored contact lenses visit ColorLens4Less.com, but always check with an eye care professional before using vampire contacts.
The Makeup:
The makeup for this costume is very simple. Use lavender eyeliner and eye shadow. Apply the eyeliner to both the top and bottom eyelids, giving the illusion of the under-eye bruise. The more hungry a Twilight vampire gets, the more visible the bruises become! Finish the look with a layer of black mascara and a juicy shade of blood red lipstick for the lips for a dramatic look.
Vampire Fangs:
Not all the Twilight vampires have fangs, but the ones that do have small, subtle fangs – nothing too large or over the top. For those who want to wear vampire fangs for the costume, visit a costume store and choose a set of fangs that are very small and minimal. The fangs should be hard to spot and not be the focal point of the outfit. Rather, people should have to look more closely to notice them... allowing time to go in for the bite!
The Breath:
Twilight vampires attract their prey with their irresistible breath. To achieve this breath suck on a bunch of breath mints to ensure maximum freshness and attraction.
With these easy steps and accessories anyone can make their own Twilight vampire costume and look like a Twilight vampire this Halloween!
