The Twilight Series has become mega popular this year among the tweens and teen girls. That's because the vampires featured in the movies and the novels by Stephenie Meyer don't look like typical vampires. They are young, beautiful and magnificent creatures with glowing eyes and an irresistible scent to attract their victims.
There are plenty of vampire costumes available in stores for purchase. However most of them will look nothing like the vampires from the Twilight movies. Materials Needed to Make a Twilight Vampire Halloween Costume
It is very easy to make a Twilight vampire costume. It requires inexpensive items that many people may already possess. The rest of the items can easily be picked up at a local store.
- Dark clothing (Dark denim jeans and a dark colored tank top)
- A light shade of makeup foundation
- Lavender eye shadow
- Black mascara

How to Look Like a Twilight Vampire
The Clothing:
Twilight vampires don't get all dressed up in the traditional vampire outfits. Instead their clothing is simple which helps them blend in with humans. Dress in simple, dark clothing. This doesn't necessarily mean black, but darker toned clothing works best for the overall look. Dark denim jeans and a long-sleeved top or even a skirt will work, as long as the colors are dark such as deep purples, reds and blues.
The Skin:
Since it's a vampire costume, the skin should look very light and pale, but not the ghostly white of traditional vampires. Use a makeup foundation that is one to two shades lighter than one's normal skin tone. Try looking for a foundation labeled as "luminance" or "brilliance" to help reflect the light. This will give the skin a glowing appearance just like that of the Twilight vampires. A shimmering body lotion or body balm will work as well.
The Eyes:
Eyes have been said to be the windows to the soul. Well, Twilight vampires have glowing, colored eyes. To achieve this look colored contacts work best if possible. This makes it very easy to change the color of the eyes. The typical Twilight vampires have burgundy red eyes while the "vegetarian" vampires have golden eyes.
