Lifetime TV's fashion competition series Project Runway aired the first half of the season eight finale on October 21, 2010. The second half of the season finale will air in an all new episode on Thursday, October 28, 2010. Project Runway is hosted by supermodel Heidi Klum and judged by Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. Tim Gunn is the mentor to the contestants. Jessica Simpson will appear as the guest judge on the season finale.
Celebrity Jessica Simpson is the guest judge in the Project Runway season eight finale, airing on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. ET on Lifetime TV. Jessica Simpson will join series judges Heidi Klum, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia in evaluating the popular fashion design design competition as the finalists go to Mercedes Fashion Week in New York City. Mentor Tim Gunn will be on hand to guide the contestants.
Project Runway Season Eight Finale
The final three contestants are Mondo Guerra, Gretchen Jones and Andy South. The finalists have the opportunity to show their fashion collection at the Mercedes Fashion Week in New York City. The winner of the competition wins a cash prize and a fashion spread in Marie Claire Magazine.
Every week the designers have faced different challenges and have had to face tough and critical judges. The fashion world is a competitive arena and people with career aspirations in design must develop a thick skin when faced with criticism. At the end of each episode Project Runway host Heidi Klum crisply announces which contestants are in or out. At least one of the contestants is eliminated each episode
The finale show will also be a reunion of season eight contestants. Appearing will be Jason Troisi, Nicholas D’Aurizio, April Johnston, Peach Carr, Michael Costello, Ivy Higa, Valerie Mayen, Casanova, Kristin Haskins-Simms. Michael Drummond, Gretchen Jones, Mondo Guerra, Andy South, A.J. Thouvenot, Christopher Collins, Sarah Trost and McKell Maddox.

It may be the rich and beautiful Jessica Simpson who gets the last laugh though, as the former reality television star has become wealthy, as well as a force in fashion.
