Rumors have been flying that Kris Humphries refused to film Kim Kardashian’s reality shows Keeping Up with the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take New York. Some even believe that this was the primary reason why Kim filed for divorce on Monday. However, a new report published by The Hollywood Life states that Kris didn’t want to act a certain way on the show, which was desired by the E! network. The report claims that Kris was given the boot to much dismay of Kim Kardashian.
An inside source close to E! network and the Keeping Up with the Kardashians show told The Hollywood Life that the producers from “Kourtney and Kim Take New York called Kris into their offices two weeks ago and basically gave him an ultimatum.” The article stated that Kris Humphries wasn’t following the rules; he was married to Kim Kardashian and that comes with certain obligations. He was not abiding by them.
This doesn’t really come as a surprise to those who have been following the Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries divorce scandal. Several reports have claimed that Kim actually filed for divorce because Kris didn’t want to adhere to her reality television life, despite being a part of the reality TV world during the months leading up to the wedding. Kris was hoping that the taping would end, but as soon as the couple got back from their honeymoon, they started filming Kourtney and Kim Take New York with Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick.
According to The Hollywood Life, Kris Humphries rebelled after the marriage and wasn’t acting like a married man like the E! network wanted him to. Instead, he was partying and acting like a bachelor. Could Kris Humphries have acted oddly on the show because the Kardashians reportedly don’t like the Humphries family? The The Hollywood Life report explains that the Kardashians saw the Humphries family as “hicks.”
The Humphries family has yet to make a public statement about the divorce, but Kris sister spoke out on Twitter and left the following quote; “the truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.” She gives credit to Winston Churchill for the quote. However, Kris’ parents have yet to make a statement, but they did entertain Kris over the weekend, so he was home in Minnesota when the news of the divorce broke.
Was the E! network right in firing Kris Humphries for the shows?
