Massage should not be done on areas of your body containing fractures, open wounds, blood clots, skin infections, weak bones or recent surgery.
You should consult your oncologist if you are diagnosed with cancer. Do not apply direct pressure to tumors as advised by the National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
