Turn heads at Halloween and fancy dress parties by recreating characters from Alice in Wonderland with a few sexy twists.
Plead Innocence in an Alice in Wonderland costume
Spice up this innocent character with a cute blue mini-dress, white apron and some frills. Add a blue head band or bow to flowing locks and tease on-lookers with knee-high white socks and black shool-girl heels.
Keep make-up to a minimum with just a kiss of pink lipstick, a hint of blush on the apples of the cheeks and a small lashing of mascara.
Dress-up as the White Rabbit
"Oh my ears and whiskers" there are many ways to pull-off a sexy White Rabbit costume. Channel the Mad Hatter in a mini dress in shades of shimmery blue, teal and purple. Add a matching stove-pipe hat, feminine bow-tie and knee-high socks to finish the look.
Alternatively, wear a tailored suit in pieces that don't quite match; for example, lime green pants, an orange jacket, striped socks and a checkered tie.
Darken the Mad Hatter by drawing inspiration from Johnny Depp's take on the character and wearing a dark suit with shimmery rose coloured accents such as a bow toe and hat band.
Smoky eyes and darker-lined lips will top off this madenning outfit.
Be the Queen of Hearts in this Royal Costume
A sexy mini dress in black red and white is a great base for a heart-breakingly beautiful Queen of Hearts costume. Sweep hair into a regal up do and add a crown, a mini-top hat or a fasinator adorned with hearts.
Continue the heart theme through make-up by drawing on a heart-shaped beauty spot or painting lips to look like a heart when they're pursed.
Throw on a floor-sweeping cape, grab a golden sceptre and go and address the loyal subjects.
A Purr-fect Cheshire Cat Costume
Get catty by adding some pink stripes to a purple leotard, body suit or top and tights. Mark out stripes with electrical tape and roll fabric paint over the garments; once the paint is dry remove the tape and Voila!
Add pink or purple ears, a tail and draw on a nose and whiskers with matching face paint or lip liner. Don't forget to plump up that Cheshire pout and brighten those kitty claws in a bright pink or purple.
Grab a Girlfriend and Go as TweedleDum and TweedleDee
Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland portrays this terrific two-some in black and white. Pull-off their look with black hotpants, black and white striped shirts and red-suspenders. Add black and white knee-high socks and cute ankle boots to wrap-up the look.
Alternatively, stick to Disney's take on the Twins with red shorts or skirts, a yellow shirt with a white colour a feminine silk tie in blue. Don't forget to add red cups with a little yellow flag.
