Selena Gomez has landed another magazine cover and both the cover and photo shoot inside Elle Mexico show the 'Wizards of Waverly Place' actor to be a glamorous young woman indeed. The entire shoot is devoted to showing Gomez in a mature and elegant light and it succeeds.
It's the August 2011 issue of the magazine and it was out July 27. The photos were taken by the New York photography pair of Steven Gomillion and Dennis Leupold, who are rising stars in fashion photography. The title of the shoot is 'Forever Young' and in the text accompanying the photos Gomez is referred to as the 'it' girl.

There's not a lot of text actually but for readers who read Spanish here is the text the magazine ran along with the photos (rough translation to follow): "La it girl de momento tiene solo 19 anos, pero eso, no ha impedido que su estilo sea admirado alrededor del mundo. Como muestra, se aduena cual profesional de las tendencias retro mas hot."
Here then, from a writer who's Spanish has faded, is a rough translation: "The 'it' girl at the moment is only 19 but that does not stop her style from being admired around the world. Examples here show her taking over professional retro's hottest trends."
Selena looks awesome in the summer outdoor settings and, Elle Mexico says, is wearing clothes designed by great contemporary fashion designers such as Altuzarra, Gucci, Marc Jacobs and Yves Saint Laurent.
Gomez and Bieber on Magazine Covers
Gomez has been on many magazine covers with some of the others she's been on including 'Girls' Life', 'Style Magazine', 'Billboard' and 'Seventeen'. Her and boyfriend Justin Bieber are not competing for most magazine covers but it might seem that way. Among many others, Bieber has been on the cover of 'Teen Vogue', 'People Magazine', 'Mad Magazine 'and 'Vanity Fair'.
Currently Selena Gomez is on tour with her band The Scene. The tour, 'We Own the Night' began in Costa Mesa, Calif. July 24 and has dates into September, with 18 shows in August alone. The tour will see her play such cities as Boca Raton, Fl., Atlanta, Charlotte, N.C., Cleveland, Kansas City, Philadelphia, Toronto and Vancouver in Canada, St. Louis and her home state of Texas in the city of Austin.
