Biological evidence is the physical evidence often recovered from a crime scene and includes hair, bodily tissue, bones, teeth, blood, including other bodily fluids like semen and urine. The biological evidence collected at a crime scene assists investigators in identifying victims, determining suspects, and may help link crime scenes together when there are multiple hits form the national database which can help establish a serial criminal.
