Writing & New Age

By Donna Quesinberry

Introduction

Example one: You've spent an afternoon relaxing away from home, work, and|or routine interruptions. You thought up an entire novel without devices to record it. You return home and make the attempt to jot the story down only to find your free flowing mind, when put to the grindstone, recollects only half of your work of art.

You scrap the idea of writing it down with the hope you will recollect it in its entirety later in the day or at another time entirely, but it never happens.

Episodes like these happen time and again. Wonderful ideas course through our minds and we can't seem to get them written or published.

Example two: In your present occupation you are a technical wizard. The products you deliver to your clients are second to none. You have brilliant ideas for improving lifestyles and accommodating progressive work environments. Your how-to knowledge is often complimented. Practical experience has lent you an abundance of information you are now willing to share with others (e.g., being a single parent success, small entrepreneurship start-ups, metaphysical cures for the common cold, computer savvy expertises, understanding of the human condition).

You approach your computer both anxious and excited. You want to share your knowledge in the production of a winning technical publication.

When you attempt to write what you know, you feel your work is dry, that it lacks personality, and it doesn't convey your message. You experience writer's block. You get tense when you are writing.

All writers suffer from these and other similar experiences from time to time. Stories course through our thoughts, play out through our mindset, and we cannot get them on paper fast enough.

We all know, without doubt, that our stories are often breathtaking, outrageous, lofty, entertaining, and|or really informative. And, we want to share them.

We experience inner person brainstorming sessions when we relax, or work, and while we aren't able to record our thoughts.

New Age Philosophies for Writing Enhancement incorporates varied (new age and not so new age) methodologies to achieve writer goals. Relaxation therapies help tap into your inner storyteller. Relaxation exercises provide a calm reservoir for reaching the inner-self enhancing mind imagery, making your vision more vivid, to arrive at literary achievement. We can fulfill our writing pursuits. We can access the depths of knowledge we maintain and arrive at delivery of art and message. We can achieve success.

In this course we achieve together. We foccuss (U.S. equivalent: focus) our minds on the inner sanctums of our being. We flow with our creative Qi' through the grindstone of matter (computer, pen, paper) toward delivery to our audience.
