I've worked as a freelance writer for two years now, and I've enjoyed having a job that's as flexible as mine. My career has seen its fair share of ups and downs (and writing horrendous keyword articles on fertilizer to pay the bills,) but I finally realized I was only hindering my career, not helping it.
Now, I tend to focus on fashion/beauty/dating and music writing. That's not to say I don't write about anything else, but I feel most comfortable with those topics.
I live and work in sunny California.
