» gret - Graphic Software

Hi, Anna! Glad you have returned! Tell me - do I want Paint Shop at all? I take digital pics and use just the MS PictureIt!2000 software for them, but sometimes feel a desire to have more available. However, I would really rather be drawing! I will not ever do this kind of electronic art work seriously, just for goofing around. How much are these programs? I can probably live without them... I have so far. But it also looks like fun. JASC drove me nuts. I was glad to Uninstall it, because it had all kinds of bells and whistles I did not care about (even in the little free download).

In response to message posted by gret:

Hi Gret! If you want to draw Corel Draw is the program that you will want. Now you can draw in Paint Shop Pro and I can rustle up some info about that. But for a good drawing program Corel is the way to go. Adobe Photo Shop is the expensive version of Paint Shop Pro and if you don't like PSP, then you'll probably dislike Adobe Photo Shop more.

I'm going to be doing a review of Corel Draw 10 probably in September. However you can download a demo of Corel Draw at: http://www.corel.com Also Painter may be a better choice. You can learn more about those two programs at the Corel web site. In the mean-time I will check on Adobe's paint program.
