In response to message posted by Afterthoughts:

John Jay School of Criminal Justice has a Bachellor and Masters program in Forensic Psych, the FBI is the only official organization with profilers but its a tough program to get into and requires years of regular FBI work.

I know this might be a little late to respond to someone but I too am majoring in Psych with a minor in Criminal Justice. Wouldnt mind some help, pointers, and tip along the way!! I do live near a metro area so jobs will be easier than in a rural area obviously!
Thanks!!

» Trisha0534 - Forensic Psych

Hi
I'm a freshman in college and i always wanted to do psychology and something with the law/courts etc. I was told to minor in criminal justices. Do you have any advice in regards to a double major in criminal justices or anything else such as legal studies..basically what law/legal background should one have to be a good forensic psychologist.

I think you are completely right. I used to have a serious addiction to porn and that is very unhealthy.

» dwalton - Forensic Psychology

I am currently a student at Kaplan University (an online school)and I am getting a bachelor in Criminal Justice with a certificate in Forensic Psychology. I guess the easiest way to get a career in criminal profiling is to go through criminal justice classes. It will take me 3 years to finish and when I am done I will have a career in criminal profiling.
