» Arnvid - Re: Read my message
In response to message posted by chischung:The words above represent the kind of hate that can create terror or terrorism, and once again it shows that such hate are not limited to any religion.
On the contrary, none of the three religions born in the Middle East accept suicidal acts, so who does that leave us with if not persons who have converted from whatever religion they where born into, to their new religion of Hate.
It hardly helps the victims of these terrible terror-war actions if more people join the attackers religion of hate?

In response to message posted by Arnvid:I was pleased to see so many of the articles posted here in the Suite warn against stereotyping and blaming those who by accident of birth look Middle Eastern, or Muslim because of actions of a few who have somehow perverted the teachings of Islam to serve their own fanatacism.

Greetings Arnvid, I followed the link in your post in the editors area, and I'm truly glad that I did. I didn't think much of the post that the link led to, but I think that your article was well worth reading. I found one paragraph that I think everyone should remember:
"He was a Muslim - they don’t die different, heart and breath just stop for them as any other person. His wife and children is Muslims - they don’t feel the grief any less than others."

In response to message posted by Tom:True, though in some cultures, like Palestine, children aspire to martyrdom from a very early age. I cannot credit a learned document or report for stating this, I have merely seen it with my own eyes. Islam and it's laws, are archaic and cruel - for instance: An 18 year old girl was sentenced to be executed iegyptpt - her crime: Being raped and becoming pregnant. ThHudoodod (Islamic law) states she must be put to death. However, the man who raped her cannot be tried because there were not four malmuslimim witnesses.
Men are stoned to death for being gay, women kept ignorant and masked. I, for one, hope Islam comes to an end; I fear it will be ended not with education, but with bombs and guns.
God be with you all: Whatever god is to you, peace be before you, be within you, be upon you.

I don't mean to be brutal but it is absolutely unacceptable to talk of one's hopes about a certain culture or religion coming to an end. Such a statement could only be made out of ignorance. Please, I hope you reconsider and learn more of this beautiful religion.-- posted by Anastasiya03

Arnvid, why do you tolerate such language and terrible prejudices on your discussion page? Think of a Muslim reader's feelings if he / she happens to stumble upon that awful message!-- posted by Anastasiya03

In response to message posted by Anastasiya03:Hi Anastasiya
Thanks for your input, and I think you said it very well already in your first post.
For the second, here I have to say that I personally see no reason to delete an statement that's so clearly defines the word ignorance.
For your point of thinking about a Muslim reader's feeling - to that I can just say that I have no problem with my feelings to it. Fact is that I believe the post actually give the opposite reaction as the poster hoped for.
Just listen to this? If a reader should choose between two persons who post their opinions here:
Poster "A" hopes that one of the main religions of this planet would come to an end.
Poster "B" says that its unacceptable to talk of one's hopes that a certain culture or religion should come to an end.
Evaluating these two posts, whoever wrote them - who will come out more tolerant? My vote goes absolutely for "poster B", so once again thank you Anastasiya for defining it so well.
The examples given? Well, documented references are always an accepted part of an real discussion - and even for single facts by individuals belonging to this or that religion or culture are not exactly enough to define a culture or an religion? If so was true then I guess all cultures and religions on or planet would be doomed - that is if they should be evaluated solely by some few individuals belonging to them...

Ignorance is your only enemy, Jason. You spit ignorance and hatred. There are more rapists in the United States than any other country. Does that make all Christians rapists? Of course, not. Besides, your assertion of stoning people to death in Islamic countries for commiting adultry is not based on facts. You just made it up to satisfy your own anger, again a self destructive behavior. Please take care of yourself. God bless you.In response to message posted by jasongreenfield:
