I am a preschool teacher doing research on single fathers educational type practices. For example having time to read to your children, keeping up with notes from the teacher and school schedules. I would just like to hear what some dads have to say about it.

» FHS_Football_21 - Researching what its like to be single father....

I am a student in Farmington High School and I'm doing a report for class on "Single Fathers". I was wondering if it was possible for people to email me and tell me what its like for them. Theres just not enough information available on this topic and being the only guy in this parenting class, makes this topic sort of important. I'm not a single father, but my brother will be soon. I'm currentlt doing my graduate thesis on the children of single fathers and their academic achievement. It's been said that children belonging in single father households perform poorly (if not the poorest) in class. Does this hold true?
