Fantasy films are all about magic and make-believe, with fantastic worlds, creatures and storylines that sweep you off your feet and stretch your imagination. Suspend your disbelief and immerse yourself in these rich experiences. From one of the earliest fantasies The Wizard of Oz back in 1939 through to the recent climax of the Harry Potter franchise, this genre is much-loved by both children and adults.

With the recent explosion of superhero movies and adaptations of classic novels like Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, there is plenty to keep you entertained when it comes to fantasy films.
