Astrologers use the term horoscope to mean an astrological chart showing the position of the Sun, the Moon, and the planets at the time of your birth. Such charts are used to forecast events in your life.
More generally, the term horoscope is used to mean a prediction of future events and advice for future behavior based on such an astrological chart. Newspapers and websites generalize their predictions to cover everyone born under a Zodiac Sign or in a Chinese New Year.
