A computer is designed to process information in various ways. With artificial intelligence, the computer program can automate the data mining process and do amazing things with the information it gathers. Once the computer collects data, it can analyze the information using pattern recognition. to sort the data. Google's Flu Trends Map, for example, collected and analyzed search terms to find swine flu clustering patterns, and predict the spread of the disease. The wider the pool of information available, the more knowledge a computer can derive from the sample set.
