Jim has been the Feature Baseball Writer for Suite101 since March, 2007, where he has written more then 460 articles on the National Pastime. His articles cover a wide breadth of topics including the origins of the game, the Deadball Era, the best hitters and pitchers by decade, the Negro Leagues, statistical analysis and player comparisons.

Jim is an active member of the Society of American Baseball Researchers ("SABR"). He recently published biographies of Roy White, Don Mattingly and Lou Gehrig for SABR's Bioproject.
