Jason Parent
Jason Parent earned his Bachelor's Degree in English in 2000 and his Juris Doctorate in 2006. He currently works as an attorney with a complex civil litigation firm in Massachusetts.
Jason is the Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film Feature Writer for Suite101. From Metropolis to the most recent Star Trek, he is a fan of all things science fiction and fantasy. His Feature Writer position offers him the opportunity to express the genre's concepts and discuss them with like- and unlike-minded people. All comments regarding his articles, be them positive or negative (yet professional), are welcome!
As an attorney, Jason has published many legal articles in scholarly journals and reviews, such as the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Michigan State Journal of International Law, and the American Bar Association's Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources. As a creative writer and freelancer, he has published varied works, including short fiction, essays, and reviews.
Jason strives to write from the perspective of the average consumer. He offers frank, unbiased, and (hopefully) entertaining commentary on all issues entertaining.
