I have been a health writer since 1997 when I published my own newsletter, SHOTS. I have written 2 books on childhood health, and write for various parenting magazines.

I was misdiagnosed with pelvic inflammatory disease at age 17 and told I may never have children. This fired my interest in infertility. I went on to have 4 daughters and a son, who is now 3 years old.

I became an egg donor in 2005 to assist 2 infertile couples in becoming pregnant and went through an IVF procedure lasting 7 months.

My website is: www.novelbookshop.com

And the organisation I donated my eggs through: www.carefertilityweb.co.uk
