Kari Lomanno
Kari Lomanno is a high school English teacher and mother of two children ages 9 and 7. She lives in Chesapeake, Virginia with her husband of 14 years, who is a musician and stay-at-home dad.
Kari is a former journalist with more than 10 years of professional writing experience. She has won five Virginia Press Association awards for her writing, including first-place awards for critical writing. She has a master's degree in English from Old Dominion University and has taught college English courses on an adjunct basis.
In her spare time (what little there is), Kari enjoys blogging, reading, spending time with her family, and writing. Her interests include parenting, education, and literacy.
