This lesson covers the mythologies of Shiva. The two marriages of Shiva make very interesting reading, though the first marriage ends in a tragedy. Shiva’s two sons from his second marriage have left their own imprint on Hindu mythology. The concept of Shakti or the Female Force is a very important one and will be dealt with in some depth.

We shall continue to use ‘Hindu Myths’ as a reference and shall refer to relevant material on the Internet.
