I am a freelance writer, editor, and copywriter living in Helsinki, Finland. My work has appeared in Agenda, an English language magazine for the ex-pat community in Finland, State magazine, and the European e-newsletter. I also work with public relations firms to produce brochures, press kits, presentations, and training materials for corporate clients.

Before moving to Finland I worked as a project manager, business analyst, and consultant in the telecommunications industry in the Washington, DC area for ten years. I have Bachelors' degrees in Political Science and French, along with a Master's degree in Telecommunications.

I am a life long European traveler and I am having a blast learning about Scandinavia and Northern Europe, particularly because they are so different from other European countries and cultures. I look forward to sharing knowledge, experiences, and perspectives with you in hopes that it will enrich your travels (virtual or actual) to the region!
