10. Dating at 55, Part I
What is dating all about anyway? Why do some people make it such an ordeal and synonymous with making a visit to the dentist? Come on... dating probably does have a serious purpose in helping us to learn more about ourselves the more we date... but I can't think of any kind of adventure that is more fun... and or provides more material to fill one's memoirs... for riotous fun when one reaches ninety or so and isn't getting around as much anymore, possibly.

11. Dating at 55.... Part II
It was Eleanor Roosevelt who said "Beautiful young people are accidents of nature, but beautiful old people are works of art." This is something to keep in mind when you're dating someone older..... and screen out all the Peter Pans or Rip Van Wrinkles... unless of course they suit you.

15. Will Wonders Never Cease?
"Is it real or is it Memorex?" Movies have perfected the art of special effects so why not create the same suspension of belief on a daily existence. It's so much more fun to go through life being self-deluded and believing that no one could possibly be attracted to the real person. Just think of the possibilities... meaningless relationships, superficial acquaintances, etc. And gays think they're the only ones in the closet!

60. Seniors and Sex
Please don't accuse me of "stooping" to the level of most magazines found at any news stand. My intention has nothing to do with increasing my "sales," there is a more serious undercurrent which I am addressing. Then again, the prevailing facts and circumstances suggest that I am guilty by simple association. What can I say?

Let's face it, "Bad News" is a part of reality. We have two and a half choices on how we deal with it; stick our heads in the sand and pretend we're from another planet; accept that human beings are perfidious by nature; or we can each do our part to make any wrong doer be accountable.

The Man Who Made Trees Blossom
When spring arrives we should think about keeping green things green. Although we may feel defeated in our jobs, political forums and social swamps, stories often inspire us to continue the good firght, uphold the right or left, defend a tree, plant a flower and save the whales and struggle to keep the salmon wild and free. The old state motto, now and forever reamins: Keep Washington Green, but ought to be applied in other places of the world.
