Renee Blixt
Renée Blixt is a member of the Crochet Guild of America, the Knitting Guild of America, the Embroiderers' Guild of America, and the American Needlepoint Guild. She teaches crochet, knitting, and embroidery.
Renée had been a Buddhist for almost a decade. She is more than happy to answer questions about her journey.
Renée also teaches math and business courses at art and business colleges in downtown Chicago, and owns a bookstore / tutoring center. Renée has completed two Master Degrees, an MBA and a MHRM. Renée is a member of M.E.N.S.A. She is beginning her doctorate at Chicago.
She still finds time to do something else she loves: Be in a Band! Check out her band website for more pics and info. She has many years on the Chicagoland/Rockford/Northwest Indiana Music Scene, and is currently planning a national tour to promote her second CD. Renée has performed for crowds ranging in size from 6 to 60,000 people, and she is a fairly accomplished pianist, as well.
Renée is also the mother of two beautiful and highly intelligent girls. She and her husband, William, homeschool, work, play, and live in Chicago.
