Sarah K Turner - Dave Jones

Sarah K. Turner's writing has been published in the Utne Reader and Event magazine, where she was a winner of their 2006 annual Creative Non Fiction contest. She has read her work at the Vancouver International Writers and Readers Festival, and at other readings throughout Vancouver.

Sarah was a member of the Writer's Studio at Simon Fraser University in 2006, where she took part in intensive manuscript critiquing sessions with a workshop group and mentor Wayde Compton. One of her short stories was published in the program's anthology, emerge.

She has taken courses in writing for magazines, short fiction, legal issues in writing, manuscript critique, manuscript development and poetry.

Sarah is currently living in Vancouver and learning how to balance writing and motherhood. She is patiently working on a collection of short stories during naptimes.
