West European History
West European History takes the reader and writer from the legacy of Greek and Roman Civilization, encompassing human development and social organization in civilized societies to the modern European Union. Greek and Roman Empires inspired the Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Austro-Hungarian, Belgian, French and German Empires to expand and inevitably contract. The devastating wars of the 20th Century, the most bloody one hundred years, are explored in Military History.
Writers and readers are welcome to contribute to West European History.
